Sapphire Moon Designs

     Once upon a time, there were two little girls who grew up living across the United States and in many foreign countries. Coincidentally, they both settled in the same small town on the seacoast of Maine. As the years went by, Arden and Jenna's families grew by three children each.  Arden's daughter, Neesha, and Jenna's oldest daughter, Molly, became friends in middle school. Soon, the moms became fast friends, as well!

     It didn't take long for them to realize how much they had in common and how their thoughts and ideas were so similar. Both families became very close while sharing fun activities with the children , holiday gatherings and the hard times families go through. Even though Arden kept busy raising her children and maintaining her own business, she longed for a creative outlet. Jenna had been in the jewelry industry for many years, studied gemology with the Gemological Institute of America and started her own jewelry business. Her clan grew with the addition of a groovy stepdaughter.

     After a few secretive breakfast meetings...no, these women are not spies posing as hard working moms...the meetings were held in "secret" since they don't get out much without a gaggle of children...as many of you may appreciate!!...these two decided to combine their interest in gemology and their love for anything sparkly and create this line of affordable jewelry. 

     And so, Sapphire Moon Designs, Inc. became a reality instead of just a dream!
